CRM: The Early Years…
Born in Memphis, Colonel Robert’s professional career started in the back room juke joints of Memphis.
Robert was part of the world famous ‘Memphis Sound.”

The 70’s found Colonel Robert touring with Charlie Feathers, (One Hand Loose). In 1988, Robert & his beautiful wife, Irene shared a cameo role in the Finnish movie, “Leningrad Cowboys Go America,” an instant cult classic.

In 1995, Colonel Robert started adding to his vast music catalog finding success with his hit song, “The Trucker’s Last Ride,” a song that still enjoys success in Country Music today.

Colonel Robert grew up around country music & big rigs. He has driven cross country runs, worked with his father in a diesel repair shop, & even was back counter parts manager at a Ford big truck dealership! If you were to cut Robert, he would bleed diesel fuel.
He has used these experiences when writing his classic trucking songs like, “I Work On The Trucks.”
