I was stuck in traffic today like every other day and was thinking it would be cool to start something new around here. The idea I had was to have a forum section called Desconstructing Music. Anyone could post up the lyrics to a song that they enjoy and the forum would deconstruct what the heck we all think it means. I know I have numerous songs that I really dig and never can quite understand what the hell it’s about. Anyway, after we all pick apart the song trying to figure out what it means we will invite the artist to comment on the actual meaning and story behind the song. Does that seem interesting to anyone other than me? My vote doesn’t count
