The Del-Lords perform at unannounced gig.

Category : Blog

Welcome to my first non-podcast related post! I could help but post these videos of the Del-Lords who, just nights ago (at the time of this post) had performed together for the first time in 25 years at an unannounced show at the Lakeside Lounge in New York.  The Del-Lords are possibly the most under-rated pioneers of the modern Americana movement. Not to mention that even after the Del-Lords, the majority of the members went on to prove their worth in music.

- Scott Kempner has been in The Dictators since the 70’s.
- Eric Ambel has been a working guitarist and producer working with bands such as The Bottle Rockets, The Blood Oranges, The Yayhoos, and Steve Earle to name a few.
- Frank Funaro has gone on to play drums for Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, and The Dictators just to name a few as well.

So, without further ado, enjoy!
