For the past three years, I have hosted a showcase during the big music conference/festival known as South By Southwest (SXSW). This show has become bigger than I ever imagined especially after teaming up with the Texas Music site Galleywinter.com last year. We are pleased to announce our 4th Annual AmericanaRoots.com/Galleywinter.com showcase this year on Friday, March 20th. As always, this show is free and requires no wristbands. Our line-up is jam packed with the perfect mixture of Americana and Texas music which is exactly the intent of putting on this show. Without further delay, here is our amazing line-up for this year’s show. We invite you all to come out and sample some great Texas/Americana music. Most of these bands rarely even play Texas so it’s a real treat for me personally to have them play!
6PM Two Tons of Steel
7PM Jason Eady / The Doc Marshalls (Nick Beaudoing)
8PM Wrinkle Neck Mules
9PM Scott Miller
10PM Modern Day Drifters
11PM Josh Grider Trio

RSVP on Facebook if you plan to come out!
These shows would never have been possible without the great help of Waterloo Ice House, Laura Magoon and Angela Lampton. Angela recommended that I put together our first showcase four years ago and the rest is history. Laura is the general manager of Waterloo and does a fantastic job of taking care of the bands and I during our jam packed show. In addition, these shows would be nothing without all of these great musicians.

Was just curious if you have heard of Americana Luxury Vodka.
We’ve been out since the fall of 2007, when Dan Marino launched the product in New York City.
Quick facts – distilled in Colts Neck, New Jersey…unflavored, grain vodka, 4x distilled, 6x charcoal filtered. We’re in seven states on the east coast.
Just curious if there could be any cross promoting possibilities.
